Besides being a respected manager and artist advocate, Jake Hooker is a very successful songwriter having written, I Love Rock N Roll, one of the greatest and biggest hits of all time, according to both Billboard and Rolling Stone magazines. The song has been covered by many artists including Joan Jett and Britney Spears creating worldwide sales in excess of 30 million records.

Jake also has written and produced many hits for various soundtracks, including, Flashdance, Top Gun, Rocky 4, Iron Eagle, Wayne's World, Charlie's Angels (The Movie), Ghost World, Story Telling, etc. All told Jakes songs have sold well over a 100 million records or a staggering $1.6 Billion in retail sales.

In the late 70’s Jake was still a performer and had a very successful group in the United Kingdom called "The Arrows". The band had several hits and was produced by the legendary Mickey Most (The Animals, Herman’s Hermits, and Donovan).

The band also had a successful national, musical variety TV series on Granada television, (ARROWS) that ran for 2 years. Jake's companies produce records, television shows, movies, videos and are also heavily involved in licensing as well as special live events.

Since 1980 the companies have also been involved in personal management and music consulting. The original reason for forming the companies was primarily for publishing and songwriting, which are still the mainstays of the business.


Clive Marc Fox - Chairman

Mr. Fox has worked as the General Manager of the MGM Record Label's Country Division and President of the Independent Label division of MGM/ Polygram Records. The independent labels in that division included Stormy Forest, Lionel Records, Sunflower Records, Verve Records, Marina Records and others. Mr. Fox has traveled the country co-coordinating radio promotion and tour support for The Animals, Herman's Hermits, The Lovin Spoonful, Richie Havens, The Blues Project, Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto, Bill Evans, Wes Montgomery, Janis Ian, Laura Nero, Hank Williams Jr., Mel Tillis and many others.

Clive Fox was born in New York City, and was influenced at an early age by the world of music. Mr. Fox's father founded The Harry Fox Agency, the largest music publishing licensing organization in the music business.

Most recently, Mr. Fox helmed Media Books, the number one volume leader of mid-priced audiobooks. Prior to that, he worked for Dove/NewStar Entertainment as Audiobook and Music Administrator starting in 1992. While at Dove/New Star he development the Dove Jazz and Dove Blues record labels. Before joining Dove/New Star Mr. Fox formed Concord Video in 1982 and released over 250 Special Interest Video Cassettes. He also developed Concord Children's Entertainment Company, which he sold to Oklahoma Industries.

Mr. Fox became Vice President and General Manager of Chappell where he developed Chappell's first production agreements with major labels. Over his 5 years with Chappell, he consummated independent label/artist deals with CBS, Polygram, EMI, Motown and Warner Brothers Records. Prior to his time at Chappell, Fox registered 17 Gold Records and generated an average of $11 million in sales per year to become the most profitable division of MGM/Polygram.

Fox arrived at MGM/Polygram after spending 3 years in the US ARMY; Mr. Fox worked for The Harry Fox Agency for two years before moving to California to work for the soundtrack division of MGM. Also during this time, Mr. Fox Graduated with a Business Degree from Michigan State University.

Mr. Fox was promoted to General Manager of the MGM Record Label's Country Division and President of the Independent Label division of MGM/ Polygram Records. Joel Margulies - Senior VP of Marketing

An expert at integrating tactical non-traditional media into strategic marketing campaigns, Margulies was involved in launching the IBM PS2, Aptiva and ThinkPad lines. Through his experience, Margulies created his proprietary Velocity Branding strategy, which employs cross marketing from an integrated platform to leverage brand building and generate transactions through all channels of distribution.
